Negotiate Contracts
After exhaustive research and analysis, we will arrange interviews with your top three practice opportunities. If you decide to pursue one or all of these positions, we engage the practices in negotiations. Negotiations will include compensation, loan forgiveness, signing bonuses, the structure of future partnership arrangements and other particulars.
Negotiating can be difficult for new doctors and seasoned practitioners alike. It is not wise to negotiate your own contract. Even if you get a fair package through rough negotiations, you will engender a fair amount of ill will. Unless your lawyer is intimately familiar with the market value of physicians in your specialty, he or she will also find it difficult to successfully negotiate what is best for you.
Our lawyers will review the contract and there will be a final review by an attorney licensed to practice in the particular state of the job opportunity.
We can also offer advice on financial planning such as mortgages, disability insurance and budgets.
